Walk4Gijsje

We will again set out some beautiful routes of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 km through the beautiful countryside of Gorp and Roovert, Nieuwkerk and even across the Belgian border.
Will you also walk with your friend, girlfriend, partner, kids or your dog? Every year, the proceeds of the Walk4Gijsje go entirely to charity. We can only do this because of the various sponsors who commit to this walk. And, of course, we need your participation.

There are 10,000 children in the Netherlands and Belgium who have a serious and/or life-threatening illness. The Gijsje Eigenwijsje Foundation's mission is to offer all these families a week with beautiful memories. This way, they can get away from all the hospital treatments and just enjoy being a child.

Stichting Gijsje Eigenwijsje itself already does a lot with sporting actions (Walk4Gijsje, Run4Gijsje, Golf4Gijsje) this together with our loyal sponsors.

If you also want to support us in a sporting way, register today and grant families with a child who has a life-threatening illness one more free week away in one of the holiday homes in the Kempen woods. In this way, these families will make great memories, which they can later look back on with pleasure.
