The Eagles Tribute Band | Desperado

The Netherlands' first true 'cover' band of the legendary world group The Eagles is coming to Goirle again after last year's great success! The Eagles Tribute band evolved from the country band Desperado, one of Holland's most famous country rock bands. This formation has already played with many greats from Nashville (USA), such as Kenny Rogers, Don Williams and Steve Wariner, who already spoke of a "hell of a Band". The name Desperado was named after a song by the Eagles (Desperado). The fact that there was a great fondness for The Eagles was immediately demonstrated then. After years of covering Eagles songs and accompanying big artists at the bigger festivals at home and abroad, it was decided in 2004 to set up a serious tribute band to the Eagles. To this end, the band was expanded with two additional top singers: Wim van de Vliert: one of the most famous country singers in the Netherlands, playing in Cash Of Delivery, where Ilse de Lange was also by his side for a long time, and Jan Buis: toured as a singer/guitarist with André Hazes for 12 years. As bandleader of the band Hollywood Boulevard, he still accompanies the "greats of the world". Participating in the Eagles Tribute band is still experienced by these two singers as one of their favourite outings, alongside all the other musical highlights! Because of this top-notch band with excellent musicians and three great singers (besides Wim van de Vliert and Jan Buijs, of course, Deperado lead singer Humphrey Wenas), the stage will be filled with a lot of quality both literally and figuratively. Beautiful solos, harmonies and vocals will be heard, which The Eagles are also known for. This will be real enjoyment! Expect of course the hits Hotel California, Lying eyes, Desperado and New Kid In Town but also other gems by this top band! NEW: By popular demand, from season 2025-2026 we will offer a ticket including a drink at almost all our own performances with an interval. Wine, lager and soft drinks will then be available for you during the interval, so that you can enjoy the break to the full. This means that the ticket price for these performances will be higher than you are used to from us.
