On her 55th birthday, she suddenly realised (during a tsunami of hot flushes) that a career as (say) a K3 singer was definitely no longer a possibility... Hendrikje van Braadschoten dreamed of success all her life. For instance, she quite wanted to become a Brabant dark Karin Bloemen. The Dutch Beyoncé was probably a bit ambitious, but in K3 she would certainly not look bad. As the transition coursed through her body, she came to a shocking realisation. Is it too late? Can she write all those beautiful childhood dreams on her belly by now? What to expect. Laughing, crying, getting a little shocked, gloating because of Henry's dance moves, enjoying beautiful songs. Henrike Brouwer - Instead of flowers About Henrike Henrike Brouwer (Bladel 1970) noticed at an early age that she found the stage a safer place than the schoolyard or (later) the office. Singing, writing and making jokes became her profession from 1998 onwards. She sang the lungs out of her body during dinner shows and did musical and theatre training in the evenings. With duo Krouwels and Brouwer, she stormed the stages in 2016. Before that, Jeroen Krouwels and Henrike wrote beautiful songs and won two cabaret awards. When Jeroen was too busy with his other work, she found a new musical partner in crime in pianist Dave Hanhart. These days, Henrike lives with her sons and Soep the cat in the heart of Tilburg. She sleeps it off with Willy and keeps herself alive with corporate cabaret and writing assignments.
