Why you don't want to miss GLOW Eindhoven

GLOW is the light festival that turns Eindhoven into a fairytale setting of light art every November. From projections on monumental buildings to interactive installations: everywhere you look, you encounter art that plays with light, sound and perception. In 2025, GLOW will experience its 20th edition with the theme "The Light". An anniversary year, then, and it promises to be extra special.

• Opening hours: daily from 18:30 to 23:00 in Eindhoven, surrounding municipalities until 22:00

• Access: free of charge (some special events excluded)

Want to get some preliminary fun? This is an example of what an evening walking during GLOW could look like.

1. Starting point: Eindhoven railway station
   Start at the central station where there is often a large work of light art that immediately sets the tone.

2. Light projections on Catharina church
   Walk towards the city centre and be surprised by spectacular projections on this iconic building.

3. Market square & environs
   Here you will find interactive artworks that you can control yourself with sound or movement. Ideal for families.

4. Church Street to the Van Abbemuseum
   The route winds along small streets towards the museum, where experimental art installations are often placed.

5. River Dommel & Wilhelminaplein
   Enjoy artworks that play with reflection in the water and end your walk with a drink in the square.

Tips for visitors

• Come on weekdays to avoid the biggest crowds.

• Wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

• Use public transport: parking in the city can be tricky.

• Plan a break: along the way are many cafés and restaurants with special GLOW menus.
