Misbehaviour is a comedy-drama film set in 1970. A group of women devise a plan to disrupt the Miss World pageant in London. Sally Alexander is studying history at University College London. She meets Jo Robinson after she helps her evade arrest for defacing a sexist billboard ad. Jo introduces Sally to a women's group working on a plan to stage a protest at the 1970 Miss World pageant. At the time, the show was the world's best-watched TV programme with more than 100 million viewers. American comedy legend Bob Hope is hired to present the event.
